ABOUT

Born and raised in Parker County and now based in Fort Worth, Texas – Justin Slinkard is a singer/songwriter whose unique sound blends the heart of traditional country with a modern twist. From an early age, Justin was immersed in the music that would shape his future. His childhood was soundtracked by Chris LeDoux tapes and Pat Green CDs, setting the stage for a lifelong passion for country music. For Justin, country music was never just a genre; it was always his calling.

Drawing inspiration from the legends of country music, including Dwight Yoakam, Radney Foster, Pat Green, and Robert Earl Keen, Justin’s music captures the essence of his roots. His sound draws from both the slow-paced charm of Parker County and the bright neon lights of Fort Worth.

Justin’s latest releases showcase the full spectrum of his influences. His track “Tyler Rose” is a sure enough Texas country anthem, filled with heartfelt lyrics and fiddle melodies that pay tribute to the Lone Star State. On the other hand, “Just Enough To Get Me Through The Night” channels the energy and spirit of old-school honky tonk music, an homage to the guitar driven rhythms and storytelling style that shaped Justin's love for country music.

With these new songs, Justin Slinkard proves that he’s not just keeping the flame of Texas country alive, but also pushing it forward. His music not only pays homage to the greats but also speaks to the spirit of a new generation of country fans. With his unique blend of traditional influences and modern sensibilities, Justin is carving out his own path in the Texas country scene, cementing his place as an artist to watch.
